But new results have come to suggest that they might have been  wrong in limiting its use to just one condition.

In studies on cyclist, the results showed that with Viagra they were able to improve their distance coverage by as much as 15%. However, early studies have also shown that the advantages of Viagra is limited to a fixed circle. For instance, for participators of sea based events ( i.e Yatch racing) Viagra has proven to be less than beneficial.

The stand of the parent company, Pfizer, on the growing controversy has been simple. Whilst they are aware of the rumours of its use in sporting circles, it has never-nor does it intend to-advertise the use of Viagra outside its established aim-that being the curing of erectile dysfunction.

Viagra, it will be remembered, was only recently just proven to be beneficial when used in the treatment of ailments like Mountain Sickness and Pulmonary Hypertension-the drug which it originally was designed for.

Most incidences of erectile dysfunction in men are caused by the inability of the body to provide enough blood to the penile areas during sexual stimulation. Because the male organ is dependant on such a provision of blood for a successful erection, the male's attempt at having one is either weak or none existent.
