Viagra is safe to use with Hypertension pills
One of the many issues which health professionals were worried about was the effect of Viagra on the health of patients. Viagra tablets, as many might well know, are widely recognized for their positive effects when used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction.
However there have been calls of concern from some quarters that whilst the effects of Viagra are well tended, the presence of another ailment, aside from erectile dysfunction might result in unforeseen complications.
The skeptics are not without logic in their reasoning. For instance, it has been shown that people who are on medications which contain Nitrates risk seriously lowering their blood pressure by combining its use with that of Viagra. This dip in blood pressure can cause the patient to collapse or faint.
Also found to be at risk from taking Viagra tablets are patients who are suffering from HIV and who require the regular medication of retroviral drugs. These drugs sometimes react wrongly with Viagra pills.
Whilst patients with a history of cardio related problems can in most cases use Viagra tablets for the treatment of their ED, it is always advised that they seek the opinion of their physician before beginning the use of this drug.
However, just as some conditions stand to suffer from proximate use of Viagra, there are some ailments that in fact benefit from the use of Viagra pills. Hypertension is one of this ailments.
In a 12 week study, which was funded by the pharmaceutical company Pfizer, researchers looked into the voiced problem of whether men who suffer from hypertension could safely take Viagra tablets without any risk of side effects.
Hypertension is a condition that is characterized by unusual high blood pressure. 70% of the men who suffer from this condition are also found to develop erectile dysfunction at some stage. It is therefore not surprising that these men are worried about the safety involved between combining hypertension drugs and Viagra medication.
The results of the study was mostly positive. The results of the study showed that men suffered little risk of combining Viagra tablets with those of hypertension drugs. 71% of the subjects tested, showed a marked improvement in their condition when their medications were mixed Viagra.
However, 40% of the men who were taking Viagra also reported known Viagra side effects such as headaches, flushing and problematic vision.
Viagra tablets are also used in the medication of PAH—pulmonary hypertension. The effects of the drug has been proven to increase the flow of blood in the pulmonary artery to satisfactory limits. The FDA has since approved the adoption of Viagra pills in the treatment of this condition.
The effects of Viagra tablets on people is closely related to the used dosage. Available in doses of 25mg, 50mg and a 100mg, men are prescribed Viagra based on their health and needs. Men who are over the age of 65 are normally retained on a 25mg dosage once it has been established as being effective.
Viagra pills can be bought in a host of locations. Most countries however require the mandatory provision of a prescription before pills are sold. They can be bought at local pharmacies. For even easier access and more affordable price, it is easy to buy real Viagra pills online.
