The use of Viagra tablets as a social drug is one that has grown widely in recent years. In a bid to clamp down on this, governments of various countries have begun to take active steps towards addressing the growing trend. Recent reports from Las Vegas bear witness to this.
The federal drug enforcement Agency has recently reported that it will be investigating the production and distribution of the drug Vegas Mixx.
Like most illegally produced party drugs, Vegas Mixx was crudely produced and manufactured by a group of people who possessed little or no pharmaceutical backing except their degree.
The final drug was a mixture of the sleeping tablet and the anti impotence pill Viagra. Unsurprisingly, many of the users of this drug complained of a lot of dangerous side effects before its production and use was discontinued.
Scot Silber who is the pharmacist credited to have been behind the creation of the drug reported during an interview that he was convinced that the drug would provide positive results thereby yielding huge profits for his pharmacy.
The drug was marketed with the promise that it would be able to heal the symptoms of erectile dysfunction found with most men as well as restore improved sexual performance of the users.
In an online advert aimed at promoting the drug, Scot Silber’s company promised that the drug would make people perform “like a porn star”. Featured on the product website, the product and adverts have long since been pulled off the internet.
The idea behind the drug was a rash assumption that the effect of Valium would be able to “cool the mind” whilst those of Viagra would ensure that the men were able to still maintain an erection.
Fortunately for most people, the sale of the drugs, despite the reported thousands of dollars invested by Silber, did not pick as envisaged and the company was thus forced to cancel production of the drugs as well as its distribution.
Scot Silber reportedly got the idea in the closing years of the century as Pfizer—the pharmaceutical company responsible for the drugs production—announced the launching of the world’s first tablet treatment for erectile dysfunction; Viagra.
There is no word on what the intent and direction of the Federal drug enforcement agency is.
Viagra pills contain the chemical compound Sildenafil Citrate and it is the effect of this inhibitor that allows most males who suffer from erectile dysfunction to once again enjoy the advantages of sex.
