Only 10 years ago, the world was stunned with the news that the pharmaceutical company Pfizer has succesfully manufactured the world’s first male anti impotent tablet. Sales of Viagra soared almost immediately. In the first 10 months alone it was reported that more than $700 million worth of Viagra pills were sold to male consumers alone. As these figures increased, it became more apparent that a more lucrative enterprise could be developed if a similar treatment could be found for addressing the female sexuality.

About 3,000 women were tested in researches aimed at deciding whether the effects of Viagra could be replicated on men. With hundreds of thousands of dollars poured into research the conclusions have been anything but positive. Women as it turns out are really a lot more complicated than men.
